Browser Issues and L*Wiki
This page contains information regarding using L*Wiki in different web browsers.
Internet Explorer 6.0 (Windows):
- L*Wiki seems to work fine using Microsoft's Internet Explorer (IE) version 6.x for Windows
To date, IE for Windows seems to be the only browser/platform handling the TAB feature as the Wakka designers wanted. Since bulleted lists are created by a combination of TAB and "dash", no other browser permits others to create these lists. --Arlo
Internet Explorer 5.2 (Mac):
- Tab feature does not work.
Apple Safari 1.0.2
- Tab feature does not work.
Mozilla Firefox:
- Tab feature does not work.
Mozilla Firefox, Firebird (the original version of Firefox), and of course the comprehensive package Mozilla 1.7, and Netscape Navigator will likely show similar performance issues. Tests pending. -Arlo
Netscape Navigator 7.0
- Tab feature does not work.
- Text wrap is turned off, long text is handled by a horizontal scrollbar below the text edit area.
Netscape Communicator 4.79

- Text wrap is turned off, long text is handled by a horizontal scrollbar below the text edit area.
- Several fonts missing; is not displaying Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Armenian, Arabic. (As known to date).
- Style sheeet rendering problems. Page format, font and navigation areas rendered improperly.
