TEAM CREP Team Contract

<b>A. CODE OF CONDUCT:</b>
<i>As a Project Team, we will:</i>
1. Work together teammates in a professional manner.
2. Distribute work accordingly to team members based on skills.
3. Keep each other informed throughout the entire project.
4. Complete all work on the date it should be complete unless specified otherwise.
5. Focus on the entire team and not just ourselves as individuals.
6. Always act in a positive manner.
7. Make sure the project gets completed.
8. Work on our team building and communication skills throughout the project.

<b>B. TEAM MEETING GROUND RULES:</b>
<b>1. Participation</b>
<i>We will:</i>
i. All attend every meeting unless notice is given ahead of time.
ii. Be thoughtful of other team members’ brainstorming and ideas.
iii. All interact and participate throughout the team meetings.
iv. Encourage new ideas from team members to ensure creativity.
v. Stay on the issue at hand or the issues that are to be discussed.
<b>2. Communication</b>
<i>We will:</i>
i. Listen to each other’s ideas and reply in a professional manner.
ii. Be concise and to the point with our ideas.
iii. Give examples of ideas whenever necessary.
iv. Keep all team members up-to-date with all things regarding the team and project.
v. Conduct a meeting in an efficient manner that touches all issues at hand.
<b>3. Problem Solving</b>
<i>We Will:</i>
  i. Promote the freedom to speak all ideas.
ii. Never put down a team member’s ideas.
  iii. Build onto previously proposed ideas.
  iv. Keep ideas on table until entire team feels idea is no longer attainable.
<b>4. Decision Making</b>
<i>We Will:</i>
i. Brainstorm ideas to produce maximum amount of perspectives.
ii. Research information needed before we reach an appropriate conclusion.
iii. Promote both the positive and negative perspective of the decision.
iv.   Based on past data, calculate the positive and negative impact the decision
will have on our project and team.
v. Promote constant feedbacks from every member of the team.
vi. Get approval from every member of the team before the execution of the decision we have made.
<b>5. Handling Conflict</b>
<i>We Will:</i>
i. Have contingency plans for schedule conflicts.
ii. Communicate with each other on regular basis to avoid misunderstandings.
iii. Keep unrelated personal issues out of our team meetings.
iv. Discuss matters in terms of logic rather than emotion.
v. State opinions in non-aggressive behavior.
vi. State back the opinions from other team members to avoid
misunderstanding.
vii. List both the valid and invalid points the other team members has made.

<b>C. MEETINGS: </b>
<b>1. Guidelines</b>
i. Meetings will be held every week on Tuesdays and 6pm in the IST building.
ii. Additional meetings will be held on Sundays at 4pm in the IST building.
iii. Additional meetings will be scheduled based upon upcoming deliverables of the team for each week.
iv. Meeting agendas will be decided on in class and formally distributed at the beginning of every meeting.
v. The minutes of every meeting will be recorded in a team notebook.
vi. Meeting will be facilitated by the team leader.
<b>2. Procedures</b>
i. Meetings will begin and end on time.
ii. Members are expected to come to prepared for every meeting and have any assigned work completed.
iii. At the end of each class period, issues and concerns will be addressed for upcoming deliverables.
iv. Unfinished business will be added to the list of unresolved issues.
v. If a team member cannot make a meeting, he/she will email the content he/she is responsible for to the team leader before
the start of the meeting.
vi. Meeting tasks will be rotated among members.
