Outlined are the basic steps to setting up the
Windows95or98orME OS for multilingual computing. Additional OS specific pages are available (

To install additional languages using the Windows95or98orME Operating System (OS):
1. Click Start-> Settings -> Control Panel.
2. In Control Panel , double-click Add/Remove Programs.
3. Click the Windows Setup tab.
4. Click to select the Multilanguage Support check box.
5. Click OK .
To enable support for a specific language after you follow the previous steps:
6. In Control Panel , double-click Keyboard .
7. On the Language tab, click Add .
8. Click the language that you want to use, and then click OK .
9. Click OK .
Multiple-language support is included in the CD-ROM version of Windows 95 and Windows 98, but not in the floppy disk version.
Multiple-language support that was originally included supports the Bulgarian, Czech, Greek, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, and Slovenian languages.
